Joining the Federation

If your society wishes to join the FAS you can download  the application form in Word format from here.

Contact the Secretary if wish to obtain a copy of our useful document about Setting Up and Running an Astronomical Society.

Member societies  must abide by the Constitution (FAS Constitution 2009 - agreed at FAS AGM Oct 3rd 2009).

FAS Subscription rates for 2010-11

Small Society - with fewer than 21 members (up to 10 newsletters) £28.50
Medium Society - 21 to 45 members (up to 20 newsletters) £45.50
Large Society - with 46 or more members (up to 30 newsletters) £57.00.

Extra Newsletters - £11 for 10 (of each edition in the year)
