Fordingbridge Astronomers intend to hold a Messier Challenge on Sat\/Sun 30\/31 March, weather permitting. Our intent is to view as many of the 110 Messier objects in one night as possible. Our last attempt in 2022 netted 100. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
We will set up at Abbots Well Road Car Park near Frogham in the New Forest, an open dark sky site in Hampshire with plenty of parking and space for telescope set ups. Members bring their own equipment and try and observe as many objects as they can. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
