A while ago we created a twitter feed (follow us @fedastro). Today we are pleased to announce that we now have a facebook page – another way of getting the latest news from the FAS and our member societies. We can be found on Facebook as “fedastro” .

The Council of the FAS was very saddened to hear of the passing of John Wade. John had been involved with SAGAS for many years through his association with Brighton Astronomical and Scientific Society, there is a longer piece on the SAGAS webpage.
