Britain in a Day aims to create the definitive self-portrait of Britain in the early twenty-first century. It is filmed by many different people over the UK. Adur Astronomical Society decided to get involved filming Chairman Robin Durrant whilst setting up his observatory – the resultant 15 minute video showed his observatory and equipment and him describing his cameras and techniques ready for an imaging session that night. Adur AS have since found out that some of the footage will be broadcast as part of the documentary.

If you wish to get an interesting view of a day in the life of Britain you can see this on BBC 2 on Monday 11th June at 9pm .
