The Federation of Astronomical Societies would like to welcome two new member societies. These are North Lincs Astro Society who meet in Barton Upon Humber, and Wells and Mendip Astronomers who meet in Wells. We wish them many successes for the future and we note that the FAS now has 190 members.

A while ago we created a twitter feed (follow us @fedastro). Today we are pleased to announce that we now have a facebook page – another way of getting the latest news from the FAS and our member societies. We can be found on Facebook as “fedastro” .
You can now order FAS publications online! Our new online ordering system allows you to pay online (via paypal and all major cards) and via cheque. From now on, FAS member societies will need their MARS credientals for the discount prices.
