Fordingbridge Astronomers’ June meeting will be on Wednesday 19th June, starting at 7.30pm. We begin the evening with What’s in the Sky this Month. Then, after this, we welcome Mark Hardaker, who will talk about his experiences Witnessing the Solar Eclipse. This will be followed by a talk on Binocular Astronomy for Beginners by Steve Tonkin. After this, there will be a short 10-15 minute break to charge glasses and catch up with everyone. After the break we have our Chairman’s Pick of the Month.
We will be holding the meeting in our usual venue at The Elm Tree, Hightown, near Ringwood. The postcode for the Elm Tree is BH24 3DY. If you’ve not been before, just look out for the Fordingbridge Astronomers signs or ask the bar staff where the meeting is. There is plenty of parking for those who want to come along.
