Following on from the success of the 2003 convention we are pleased to announce that the FAS Annual Convention 2004 will be on the 2nd October at the Institue of Astronomy, Cambridge, CB3 0HA.

Tickets prices are £7.00 in advance and £8.00 on the day.

Lecture theatre is limited to 180 seats so book early to avoid disappointment.

There will be no meals provided this year and delegates are advised to bring packed lunches or make use of a nearby pub or MacDonalds. Tea & coffee is available.

This year we are also running a raffle, tickets will be £1. The prizes include a signed copy of David Hardy’s latest book titled “Futures”, a selection of books from Cambridge University Press, a selection of books from Springer, a collection of posters from Chandra, tickets to the National Space Centre Leicester.
