This years convention will take place at the University of Leicester on the 19th of October 2002. This event also celebrates 50 Years of the Leicester Astronomical Society.

Lecture talks and AGM will take place in Lecture Theatre 1 of the Ken Edwards Building.
Tickets, exhibition display area and afternoon coffee/tea is in the Belvoir City Suite, of the nearby Charles Wilson Building.
Lunch can be taken on-campus, or at the National Space Centre which is a short drive away, or in the City Centre which is short walk (15 minutes).
There should be ample parking on the Campus. The University of Leicester main campus is to the south east of the city centre.

Tickets are £8 at the door, or £7 in advance. The ticket price includes coffee/tea in the afternoon.
