The Federation of Astronomical Societies would like to welcome a new member society – Wakefield And District Astronomical Society (WADAS) who meet in Horbury, West Yorkshire. We wish them many successes for the future and we note that the FAS now has 195 members.
We are deighted to report that Galloway Forest AS will not be folding but will be moving forward! After holding their AGM in October new officers were elected and the society will now be pushing on. We wish them the very best for the future.
