We would like to welcome a new society to the FAS, Rutland Astronomical Society, which meet in Oakham, Rutland. We wish them the best of luck and clear skies. The FAS is now made up of 211 member societies.

We would like to welcome two new societies to the FAS, Newtown Astronomical Society, which meet in Newtown, Powys and Runcorn & Widnes Astronomical Group which meet in Runcorn, Cheshire. We wish them the best of luck and clear skies. The FAS is now made up of 210 member societies.

The Federation of Astronomical Societies would like to welcome a new member society – Sandy Astronomical Society who meet in Sandy, Bedfordshire. We wish them many successes for the future and we note that the FAS now has 207 member societies.
